The Boccafine project is born in 2014 from the union of Clement Collet, a talented young chef who gained experience in gastronomic restaurants on different continents, and Caroline Chaubon, a multitask manager with a special feeling for her family village.
These two passionate globe-trotters indeed have enriched their young careers by learning and mixing the best of their respective discoveries throughout the world.
While Clement performed in famous restaurants along the Lyon area, the Alps, the French Riviera, the Caribbeans and even the Pacific coast, collaborating with Michelin stars awardees such as Georges Blanc, Helene Darroze and Dimitri Droisneau ;
Caroline studied international business around Europe and developed her skills in hospitality management in New York, Sydney and Calvi, in Relais & Châteaux Hotels.
This is on this beautiful island that these two young and enthousiastic entrepreneurs met in 2013, and after a rich experience in the Pacific, the idea of coming back to Nonza to grasp and develop the local gastronomy came up as obvious.
The Boccafine project was born… Please note that the double “C” in the middle of the restaurant name (“gourmet” in Corsican language) echoes with their respective initials…
